No Summer wardrobe is complete without the essentials. They're the small little details that can either make or break an outfit.
Whether you need a closet refresh, or an audit, I've created a small list of some of my favorite Summer Trends and Essentials for 2022 to add to your wardrobe!
Summer 2022 Trends/Essentials
Versatile Dress:
Everyone needs a little black dress in their wardrobe, but it's also a great idea to have a versatile summer dress that can be worn from day to night, and styled many different ways. A white dress or a black dress would be a great option to start with.
This black midi dress is from Target and under $30. It runs so large, I had to size down 2 sizes. Right now I am loving the ribbed midi dress trend, and was able to style it a minimum of 3 casual different ways already.
Cutout Swimsuit
Nothing says Summer essentials like a swimsuit that makes you feel like a million bucks. This year's Summer 2022 trends list consists of cutout swimsuits! Whether you like cutouts or not, every girl needs a swimsuit that makes her feel confident, and like she's having a hot girl summer. This one from Aerie is SO flattering, true to size, and it makes me feel so confident.
I've also added an arrangement of some of my other favorite Summer Essentials and Must Haves for the pool or beach like self tanner, a beach bag, my favorite straw hat, neutral sandals, scrunchies, sunnies and denim shorts.
Straw Bags/Totes
You don't have to have straw bags just for vacation. A bag that can be used during the summer besides going to the beach is a great essential to have. The rattan/straw bags screams Summer and adds boho elements to any outfit.
I personally love the rattan material for crossbodies, and the straw/jute textures for totes. Big or small they're always a Summer staple.
